Perception des filles sur le choix de l’option scientifique au secondaire

Abstract

L’étude s’est déroulée à Kinshasa, capitale de la République Démocratique
du Congo. Elle a poursuivi comme objectif de connaître les comportements psycho- sociaux qui influencent la
perception des filles sur les filières scientifiques et son impact sur leurs orientations et susciter la motivation et
l’attitude positive des filles face à l’option scientifique. Avec un échantillon aléatoire de 50 sujets tiré dans une
population composée de 150 élèves filles du collège Frère Emmanuel STABLUM, nous avons trouvé les résultats
suivants :
 La majorité des filles aiment les sciences humaines ;
 Elles accusent une sous-estimation relative à leurs capacités intellectuelles dans les filières scientifiques
en disant que la math- physique nous semble difficile à affronter.

Abstract
The study took place in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The aim of this
study was to learn about the psychosocial behaviors that influence girls' perceptions of scientific studies and their
impact on their orientations, and to motivate and affirm the positive attitude of girls towards the scientific option.
With a random sample of 50 subjects drawn from a population of 150 student girls from the college Frère
Emmanuel STABLUM, we found the following results:
 The majority of girls like the humanities;
 They are underestimating their intellectual abilities in science subjects by saying that mathematics seems
difficult to deal with.
